Curtis Myhand
Director of Programs
LinkedInCurtis Myhand serves as Director of Programs at IBR, bringing extensive experience across hardware, software, systems engineering, and program management. He holds a B.S. in Electronic Engineering Technology and an M.S. in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Software Project Management. Curtis is an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), IEEE, and the Scrum Alliance.
Throughout his career, Curtis has led the development and integration of large-scale, high-performing scientific and IT systems, including complex systems-of-systems supporting federal missions. He began his career as a field service representative with Bell & Howell before advancing to develop custom test systems for DoD aerospace applications and later serving as a design engineer at NASA's Kennedy Space Center.
A career highlight includes receiving a NASA Public Service Group Achievement Award for developing a shuttle launch system simulator that saved millions in testing costs. He also witnessed the historic return-to-flight Space Shuttle launch following the Challenger accident.
Curtis leads with integrity, accountability, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous improvement. At IBR, he applies his deep engineering expertise to solve large, complex customer challenges and drive mission-focused innovation.
Outside of work, Curtis values living with purpose, pursuing happiness, and helping others do the same.
